Murray is a Chartered Accountant who graduated from the University of Witwatersrand. He joined Cargo Carriers in 1985 as Financial Administration Manager and within two years, was appointed as Financial Director. He later completed a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School and was appointed Joint CEO in 1992. In 2018, he retired as CEO and continues to serve as an Executive Director of the Company.
