Garth Bolton
Joint CEO
Garth Bolton's natural flair for business dynamics has seen him steadily rise through the ranks at Cargo Carriers. His ability and hands-on experience have earned him promotions from Contracts Controller to Branch Manager and, finally from Divisional Manager to Joint CEO of Cargo Carriers. He also served as Chairman of the Road Freight Association for two years, and brings a wealth of experience at all levels of the industry to Cargo Carriers. |

Murray Bolton
Joint CEO
Murray Bolton (CA (SA) BCom (Wits) BCompt Hons (Unisa) joined Cargo Carriers in 1985 as Financial Administration Manager and within two years, was appointed as Financial Director. He later completed a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School and was appointed Joint CEO in 1992. |

Shaneel Maharaj
Financial Director
Shaneel Maharaj (CA(SA), BCom( Natal), BCom Hons( Natal) joined Cargo Carriers in 2006 as group financial manager. Shaneel completed his articles at Deloittes and held various other financial positions before joining the company. He was appointed to the board as Financial Director in 2009. |

Johan Kruger
Divisional Director - Chemical,
Fuel & Steel Division
Johan Kruger joined Cargo Carriers
in 1991 as Technical Manager at our Vanderbijlpark branch.
He has 30 years technical and operational experience
to add to our executive team. Operationally he has a
Diploma in Road Transport & his technical expertise
is backed by a qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

Dave Edmond-Mack
Divisional Director - Sugar Division
David Edmond-Mack joined Cargo
Carriers in 1984, in a technical and operational position
in the mining operations. In 1988 he transferred to
the Swaziland operations where he took over a management
role of the Big Bend branch, and following on from his
operational abilities and experience gained in the sugar
industry he was appointed director of Cargo Carriers
Swaziland Pty Limited. This area of responsibility was
extended to include all sugar related operations within
Southern Africa in 2003.

Dawid Janse van Rensburg
Divisional Director - IT and Supply Chain
Before joining Cargo as the IT and
Supply Chain Director, he was an electrical engineer
and later IT project manager for the implementation
of large scale systems in Eskom.
He is also a consultant with the International
Goldratt Group, and is certified as an Application Expert
with TOCICO (Theory of Constraints International Certification
Organisation), working on large company turnaround projects
in the manufacturing and logistics sector. Here he is
currently involved in the FMCG sector, as well as involved
in the implementation of TOC software applications in
various other industries. He is also practicing as a
Solution for Sales Expert on TOC projects.
Dawid obtained a B. Eng (Electrical)
degree from the University of Pretoria in 1984. He also
obtained a Masters Degree in Nuclear Engineering at
Pennsylvania State University in the USA and an M. Com
in Business Management from Rand Afrikaans University.
Dawid has presented some 50 odd papers
at conferences in the areas of the management of hi-tech
systems and IT applications and management, and supply
chain management, both locally and overseas.

Mike Scott
Divisional Director - Trading
Division
Mike Scott joined Cargo Carriers
in July 1989, is currently responsible for the Trading
Division. Mike has extensive knowledge and experience
of many of the SADC Countries and has been involved
in the Company's activities and expansion into many
of these Countries, he also speaks a number of African
languages.
Mike has been and is currently the Chairperson of the
R.F.A. "Cross Border" committee, he is also
the Chairperson of FESARTA ( Federation of Eastern and
Southern African Road Transport Associations).

Andre Jansen van Vuuren
Divisional Director - Marketing
Andre Jansen van Vuuren joined Cargo Carriers at the beginning of 2009 and has quickly adopted the Cargo Carriers culture and growth targets. He has completed the RAU Road Transport Diploma at University of Johannesburg and is in the process of completing his B-tech in Logistics. For the past 20 years he had gained extensive experience in the Logistics field both from an operational and marketing perspective and brings a wealth of experience at all levels of the industry to Cargo Carriers.
